The Friends of the Fairview Park City Schools are hosting the Friends 5K and 1-mile Fun Run on Saturday, November 4. The race will begin at the FHS stadium and follow a similar route as the Derby Dash.
The Friends group would like to showcase student artists and are excited to announce a t-shirt design contest for the race. A panel of judges will select one design to go on the race-day t-shirt, which will be given to all race participants. The winning artist will receive a $50 gift card to Crocker Park!
Requirements:
- The contest is open to Fairview Park City Schools students in K-12
- The design should incorporate the artist’s interpretation of “Friends” or “Friendship.”
- Keep in mind that the design will be printed in one color (black or white) on a colored t-shirt, so the design should be able to translate accordingly.
- The design should be submitted on a standard 8.5 x 11 piece of paper, or digital (JPG/PDF) equivalent.
- It is not mandatory to incorporate the date of the event into the design.
- It is not mandatory to incorporate the Friends logo into the design, but elements of the logo are certainly welcome to be included. See the logo attached.
- Include original artwork on a plain background or a high-resolution digital file. Submit via email to [email protected] no later than Friday, September 29 at 3 p.m. If you have multiple student submissions please submit via a Google folder or Dropbox link.
- Please include the student’s first name, last initial, and grade on file name of the submission.
- Judging will take place by October 10 with a winner announced shortly thereafter.
